The generosity of Prosocial acts seems to also have your site in the brain, cites an article published in the magazine very interesting. According to Hugh Crago (2012), generosity is more related to the right hemisphere of the brain.
In another study, in 2010, Elisabeth W. Dunn and his team found that adults were happiest when you spent the money on other people than when made it about themselves.

Recently, an article published in PLOS One (2012) indicated that this phenomenon can be observed also in very young children, who usually assumes a greater selfishness and selfishness. In the study, conducted by a team of researchers from the University of British Columbia, they wanted to find out if the children of less than two years of age showed more signs of happiness to receive a gift in the form of candy or so doing.

Two independent observers coded the faces of children on a scale from 'Not happy' 1 up to 7 'Very happy'. We compared the emotional expressions of children throughout various times: receive candy, see how the experimenter gave a treat to a plush, give a treat of another person to a plush, or give him a treat of their own.

The results showed that children, not only did not show disgust at giving, they showed more happiness when they gave the candy to Teddy than when received it themselves. Most significantly, their faces reflected more happiness when they gave one of their own candy to Teddy, what was happening regardless of the degree of enthusiasm shown by Teddy (managed by the experimenter).
According to the authors, these findings could be taken as support to the idea that happiness could act as a reward which makes that we repeat over and over again those prosocial behaviors, beyond pure socialization or the role of education in these habits.

This psychological study shows what it says in the Scriptures: "in everything I have taught you that working well, is it must help the needy, and recall the words of the Lord Jesus, who said: happier is to give than to receive", made 20:35.
